Getting Crafty

So Alex and I got all domestic and made and hung curtains for our closet and our makeshift garage/huge metal shelf in the corner. We spent the first half of the day going to the local hardware store, fabric store and the food co op. I know the food co op has nothing to do with getting crafty but we have been meaning to check it out since we have been here but had not found the time. It is fabulous, totally biking distance and has everything we will need even toiletries. So back to the point. I pulled out the sewing machine and Alex went to the third floor to grab a huge ladder and we got busy. Here is what we did.

Here is Alex on the huge ladder. All our junk is hidden now, Whoo Hoooo!
Birds Eye View.
Cutting the extra.
Hanging the last picture while we have the ladder.
Sewing.
The super cute fabric. Owls and Woodland Creatures.
All done. Now we can't see that junk either.
Scribble likes it.

  2. You're getting all crafty!

I love that you are enjoying all of these places within walking distance!! Hangout across the street, the favorite restaurant a couple of blocks away, and the food co-op within biking distance are all great things to have!

I am waiting to hear back about the job at Fokker, in Fairhope, which would mean my commute would be 11 minutes long. I could actually bike there too, but don't trust the drivers on 98.

I miss you guys! So glad to have news on how things are going!!
