I am sitting here after having had a very nice "Going Away" dinner with the paternal side of my family. I said out loud that I have been thinking about creating a Blog for them to keep track of Alex and My whereabouts. They all agreed and, well here we go. I have never tried even keeping a diary before so we will see if this even goes anywhere. Alex has said he will try to post as much video and text as he can and I agree to try to post photos and text very often.
We leave in 2 days. The house is mostly packed, the cats are like wtf and I can not sleep at night thinking about the move and the prospect of being completely destitute in less than 3 months if everything does not go as planned on the work front. I like to tell myself this is a completely ridiculous thought. Everything is going to be just great and I really do believe everything is going to work out but I do have my moments of doubt. They are few and increasingly far between as there is no turning back now. WE ARE MOVING TO YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN.

PS Alex wants everyone to know that after a 4 course Thai feast he thought he should eat cheese and crackers and now his tummy hurts.
